What is the logic behind the appointment of Shiv Shankar Menon as the new National security Advisor? He is not a security expert, not an intelligence expert, not anyone who is familiar with the Indian security and intelligence appratus. Why has he been foisted upon the country like this? The only expertise that he has been adept at is his hobnobbing skills with the foreign countries and agencies.
Maybe the government wants to prioritise these foreign powers reach, rather than appointing someone who has the required resume. The appointment must have received a roud of applause from the foreign powers.
