Tamil Nadu Vs Centre

The Tamil Nadu and Central government have been involved in a battle of political games. When the J Jayalalithaa government decided to covertly oppose the Kundankulum nuclear plant they didn't know that the Centre was planning for a reprisal attack.
With its cronies in power in Kerala, the Congress has decided to bring in the Mullaperiyar issue. Once again showing us why this party has been able to rule the country ever since the British left. It stinks of another divide and rule policy tactic. And I am now told that Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, the great economist, will soon send in the Central forces to guard the dam in return for an understanding that the nuclear plant will be allowed to be constructed without any hassles.

Pranab vs Chidu-II

Despite the claims by Congress government that everything is ok between the two senior most ministers in the UPA cabinet, Pranab Mukherjee and P Chidambaram, the facts speak otherwise.
The two have been constantly at war and after just a few days of rest the war has again escalated.
The recent allegations and papers leaks, regarding the hotelier connection of the home minister, was allegedly orchestrated by the FM.
The Chanakya of Congress is out to seek revenge and it doesn't seem that PM Manmohan Singh has any hold left on these two. Very soon we are also likely to seek further developments in the ongoing 2G case. Chidambaram seems to have his hands full for the next few weeks.

Biggest terror swoop or pr exercise

The biggest ever swoop, as claimed by the intelligence and police agencies of our country, seems to be a mere exercise to enhance the image of our Home Minister. Interestingly, P Chidambaram, has completed three years in office.
And howcome his efficient sleuths find time to round up all terror suspects within the week approaching this remarkable date. All of these things don't add up. The UPA government still thinks that it can take us Indians for a ride..........whenever it desires.

Retail masterstroke

The retail masterstroke seems to have worked. The Congress is at it again. They have decided to divert the attention of the entire nation from all relevant topics to a non-issue.
The stalemate in Parliament was part of design as the Congress waited till the Parliament session began to approve FDI in retail. However, it is now being felt that it has bitten more than it could chew. Just like the recent Ramdev and Anna episodes.

To become PM

BJP chief Nitin Gadkari has been doing some politics. The politician was once brushed aside by the power corridors of the city as a provincial leader not worthy of the post. But political conspiracies doing the rounds of the party circles state that he is placing himself as the prime ministerial aspirant for the next general elections.
Amongst the present lot he is considered the closest political leader in BJP to its ideological parent RSS. The party has already indicated that he will contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, that Advani and Joshi will be in retirement, that no Rajya Sabha leader will be the PM and that Modi is an important state leader. Effectively ruling out all possible contenders.

Prashant Bhushan bashing

The political and legal circles are abuzz with conspiracy theories about the beating that anti-corruption crusader Prashant Bhushan had received recently. It is being stated that a lawyer turned senior minister in the UPA cabinet was involved in the bashing up of the senior civil rights lawyer.
It is understood that the two lawyers were also not on good terms when they were "mere lawyers" and not involved in active politics.

I told you so.....

It was Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Home Minister P Chidambaram's private war which had led to 2G episode being unearthed. I had told you so months ago. Read my earlier posts on the entire 2G controversy.

You can read tomorrow's newspapers for further details.

However, the point here is that now UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi is back in town. And there will certainly be some fireworks and reining in of ministers who had crossed their limits by indulging in dirty tricks against his own colleagues.
The Congress, which has been at war from within will need to med its ways if it wants to continue ruling. Vaise I don't think that there is any credible opposition left in the country apart from Congressmen themselves.

PS : The way this entire scam had unfolded was a masterstroke of a true politician. You can guess who I am pointing towards. The coming few days will be really exciting for Indian politics and us as well.

Amar arrest

The conspiracy theorists are stating that the arrest of Amar Singh is just an eyewash. A deal has already been struck between him and the Congress, which is the real benefactor of the cash for votes scam.
The Congress has asked him to be in prison for a while till the dust settles. The real person/ persons behind the entire deal will be protected through this. He will be able to secure bail and the case will die a natural death in a few years. So everyone will be happy.

Maya Wiki cables

The timing of these cables is suspect. And I find the allegation of UP Chief Minister Mayawati perfectly tenable that there is a larger conspiracy behind all this.
It seems that the Congress dirty tricks department has been working overtime, preparing for the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.
The attempt seems feeble and one that aims to drive a wedge between the UP chief minister and her trusted aides like Shashank Shekhar Singh and SC Mishra.

Timing of leaks

Why has the Sc commission report on alleged rapes being committed by Uttar Pradesh policemen at Bhatta village during the anti land acquisition protests been leaked at this time?
The government is going all out to try and attempt to divert the attention of the aam aadmi from the ongoing agitation led by Anna Hazare. But these attempts are likely to fail unless it can find something substantive to create such a diversion. A doctored report isn't going to help as the people behind the Anna movement are well trained, funded, motivated and trained in the art of politics. And the Congress has itself to blame as far as creating such a mess is concerned.

Inherent problems for UPA

The UPA government has been facing Anna Hazare, Ramdev and a few other problems. But it is not a creation of an outsider.
All this is due to an inherent problem in the UPA. The insiders are working against the interests of the government. The fight for control over the government, by Pranab Mukherjee and P Chidambaram camps, is leading to this state of the government. These two stalwarts of the Congress are now indulging in what can be called the politics of the worst order to stab their own party in the behind.
These two sides have been on constant war over the past more than an year and it doesn't seem that there are any chances of a truce soon. One only hopes that the party is resolve it soon or the next elections will be really tough for the Congress to win.
The two have been playing this game to become more powerful and only the first family's intervention is likely to resolve this feud. The 2G scam and bugging episode of FM office should not be forgotten and the dots should be connected together.

Congress' diversionary tactics

The government today brought out another diversion to throw the people of the country off the corruption issue. The Afzal Guru, facing the death penalty in Parliament attack case, file was thrown in the face of the people. Unable to face the heat over the corruption issue and repeated unraveling of various scams the Congress has tried this diversionary tactics.
The Congress is a master as far as playing such games is concerned. Not even a single political outfit is worthy of replacing this masterpiece.

Sheila to stay or quit

The CAG has indicting Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on several counts in the Commonwealth games fiasco. The Delhi CM has been facing the heat on the issue for several months now.
Knowing the seasoned politician that she is, and the storms that she has weathered, I don't think she is going anywhere.
This only seems to be a minor hiccup for the CM who has been able to each and every conspiracy enacted against her over the past over 12 years of her rule. Let us see if she finishes what she started.
Also, with Sonia Gandhiji ill and absent from the power circles, the game have turn up a few surprises.

Our PM lies

The government is lying again and again to keep its skin.
MMS has been blatant with his lies all to protect his master at 10 Janpath. The allegations that NDA government appointed Suresh Kalmadi at the helm of affairs for the botched Commonwealth Games is nothing but laughable.
Ajay Maken is also adept at giving colour to black and white. Have witnessed it first hand. But his speech in Lok Sabha was pathetic. I do not think that this conspiracy hatched to protect the first family of Congress will work.

Raja ne baja dia baja

Raja ne baja dia hai UPA government ka baja.

Former Telecom Minister A Raja has decided to go on the offensive against the UPA government. Particularly Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Home Minister P Chidambaram, who held the finance portfolio during the enactment of the 2G scam.
I had told you earlier that several moves had been planned by DMK chief Kaingar M Karunanidhi. And this seems to be the part of the wider unfolding conspiracy. The DMK family has now decided to take on the UPA for sending its poster boys and gals to the Tihar prison.
The old man of DMK has decided to take revenge for his daughter Kanimozhi being jailed like a common crook. Lets see how long this strategy works...... for the Congress is a master at resolving such crisis with ease.

Cash for votes dallaa to walk free

It seems that the political conspiracies have been properly enacted to save the biggest dalaal in India. The Delhi Police, which is so adept at creating facades, is at it again and trying to pass off petty thieves for dons of the region.
The scam is all set for a burial soon even after the whipping of the government and law enforcement agencies at the hand of the Supreme Court. This again goes on to show the imperialistic tendency of our police forces. They are their to serve their political masters and not investigate and bring out the truth. These are basically cover up agencies which are only adept at taking away the rights of aam aadmi and protecting the privileged.

Cash for votes scam

The Delhi Police may have arrested a pyada (foot soldier) in the cash for votes scam after getting a dressing down from the Supreme Court, but it is yet to reach the raja.
There is a need to bring out the fact as to who arranged the cash for the payoff. A known dalla (middleman) of Congress seems to be behind the conspiracy. The name is being withheld as he is known to sue his ass off against anyone who says anything against him. But I am anticipating an imminent arrest of this political and actress' dalal soon.

Telecom ministry jinxed?

The Telecom ministry seems to be jinxed. It is understood that Kapil Sibal is the latest minister, after A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran, to get caught in the allegations of misusing their position to provide relief to corporates.
An affidavit has been filed in the Supreme Court alleging that Sibal has provided some undue favours to Anil Ambani run Reliance. A file noting of the minister has reportedly been accessed by the petitioner. This is not the first time that such a dealing has been exposed in the ministry. The point here is that who is the person unveiling such secrets of the government that are taking a toll on its ministers. Will this scam take the scalp of another of our telecom minister's....only time will reveal.
The truth shall be unveiled soon.

Aziz Burney

The veteran journalist, known for his hate campaign against the RSS, has been appointed as the adviser to the Human Resource Development Ministry. The step is another attempt at Muslim appeasement and garnering the votes of the community for the ruling Congress.
Burney has been paid back well for his services to the UPA government. The man who had to apologize on the front page of the newspaper he edited and made to eat his words regarding his allegations of an RSS connection with the 26/11 terrorist attacks has been compensated well by the Congress.
The party should be lauded for it doesn't forget and forgive its detractors while at the same time going out of its way to protect its well wishers.

PM to brief media every week

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will brief media every week. According to a new strategy developed under the guidance of the Congress Working Committee the PM will now be facing the media directly.
This is a shame that things have gotten so out of hand that the PM had to stoop so low. MMS, who had addressed two press conferences at a gap of FOUR YEARS, will be addressing the media each week..... Is he a lowly minister in the UPA government or is being made to act like one.
The talk of off record briefings and on record briefings by MMS is nothing but an attempt at denigrating the post of the PM. There is no way in world that the government doesn't have a firefighter to resolve the mess it has gotten itself into. PM's job is not to address the media each week. His job is to government the country effectively....for the aam aadmi. Any ideas Mr MMS.

PAC report

The Congress may not allow the tabling of the PAC report that has allegedly indicted the UPA government and several of its ministers and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. There have been peculiar developments today. The DMK, the ally of UPA, has now reportedly demanded that the report be tabled in Parliament. The report had been rejected by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.
The DMK game plan on the issue seems to be that they want the government too share the blame. they are working on the classic principle of collective responsibility. And they want even the blame to be shared by its ally. The Bahujan Samaj Party and Samajwadi Party, which had opposed the tabling of the report so far have also come out in support of the PAC report. These parties are also likely to call for its tabling, creating more trouble for the ruling alliance.
Let's see if this is a masterstroke by the DMK or the Congress has some more cards up its sleeve.

Sathya Sai Baba trust money

What's the story behind all the money being recovered from the premises of Sathya Sai Bab's former abode? It seems that several crores of this unaccounted for wealth has already been removed from the vicinity.
This was proven after huge amount of cash was recovered from vehicles moving out of Puttaparthy. It is believed that several senior politicians from Andhra Pradesh and nearby states, mainly Karnataka and Maharashtra, are involved with the Sathya Sai trust. There should be a move to check the involvement of these persons at the earliest. Such amounts of cash could have very well been used in illegal funding of elections.

FM bugging conspiracy

It seems that the oft lungi clad senior minister in the UPA-2 is being blamed for the alleged bugging of the FM's office. The conspiracy theories doing the rounds are that the minister, known for these sort of dirty tricks, was behind the attempt at wiring Pranab Mukherjee's office.
I have myself seen several cabinet ministers act like meek sheep in his august presence. The minister apparently knows several secrets of his cabinet colleagues and I am told that dossiers of information are maintained on them. The FM's request for a secret inquiry into the bugging and the rejection of the IB's report are more proofs that this minister is not trusted. Just wait for a few days before the FM retaliates.

FM bugged?

It is understood that someone bugged the office of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. This is hilarious..... apart from being a telling commentary on the situation of security.
It is a known fact that Pranabda is one amongst the top three in the current UPA regime. This incident also showed the inept attitude of the IB, which we all are aware of, and the keen eye of private detectives hired by the FM's office.
The point here is that who is so audacious as to attempt the bugging of the office FM. The impunity with which such an attempt was made seems to elicit the fact that either the act was performed by someone who had the protection of the higher ups or the bugging was done by the government agencies themselves.
This is a conspiracy that is far from over. Was a corporate house involved or was it a political conspiracy to get some secretes of the FM and his private life? The latter theory has to be investigated properly as it seems that someone high up in the Congress or the government itself seems to have ordered this bugging.
It may take a few days for the conspiracy theories to kick in but the truth shall eventually be revealed.

Media barons or manipulators

The media barons of India have risen together. To quell the rights of their employees. These media barons, who claims to be fighting for the rights of the common man, are nothing but thieves like any other corporate entity. The impunity and unabashed way in which they have unleashed a barrage of advertisements against the new wage board recommendations is shameful.
They are cartelising against their own employees. Hatching a conspiracy to take away what is rightfully theirs. The government doesn't have the guts and is likely to bow to the pressure. As these weher the same people who have been supporting it during all the downturns be it Anna or Ramdev.

Government targets Anna

Taking a cue from the late night police action against Baba Ramdev and his supporters the government has now decided to target Anna Hazare as well. The loudmouth Minister heading the dirty tricks department of the government announced that the social activist and his group can go to hell if they don't want to conduct any further meetings with the government. The government has decided to show them their aukaat.... to use the right word as English language doesn't have a word which can define it more appropriately.
What is this ..... is the government growing balls again????
It seems that buoyed by its successes the government has decided to take a few harsh steps. I just hope that they don't do anything foolish like the emergency imposed on the nation in the 1970s.

BSP reads Ramdev politics

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati seems to have finally read the politics behind the anti corruption agitation of Baba Ramdev. Mayawati has so far refused to give the go ahead to Baba Ramdev for continuing his protest against the Central government from her state's territory.
She has decided to keep a distance from the saffron tinged baba for the time being.
But there is a caveat here...for how long will such distance be maintained.
Is she biding hertime.... waiting for an opportune moment to make a move against the Congress but asking the baba to move to Noida.
Lets see what happens when Rahul Amul Baby G tries to hold a mahapanchayat at Bhatta Parsaul.

Ramdev protest quelled

The reason behind the crackdown on Baba Ramdev's protest..... to consolidate Muslim vote in favour of the Congress. The unwitting beneficiary..... BJP.
This is the sum of the entire conspiracy which has been on for the past few days. The two major parties have seemingly evolved a formula to consolidate their respective vote banks with a view to Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls scheduled for next year. Everyone knows whoever rules UP will be the leader in Delhi.
But with the reactions of UP Chief Minister Mayawati and Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh have shown that they have not read the politics behind the moves. The two national parties will progress at the cost of these two regional parties in UP. Congress at the cost of SP and BJP at the cost of Bahujan Samaj Party.

Ramdev conspiracy

Who has been orchestrating these agitations on corruption? Why has Ramdev chosen this point of time? Why are these anti corruption agitations not relenting despite the government going all out to resolve the crisis?
The conspiracy doing the rounds in the political circles is that the biggest saffron force in the country the RSS is behind all this. The Congress has been encircles in a charkravyuh of corruption as the saffron organisation was encircled by it in Hindu terror cases. If the spin doctors are to be believed the Hindu organisations are going all out to discredit the government. The UPA government may be made to pay back for painting these organisations with the same brush as Al Qaida and Lashkar e Toila.
The government will need to go all out to get out of this mess as the enemy has encircled it pretty badly.

Ramdev circus

Why is the government promoting self-proclaimed yoga guru Baba Ramdev? Almost half the UPA cabinet was at the airport to receive him. It seems that the government's ass is in a tight spot. Despite the fact that it had created and promoted this person to counter Anna Hazare during his recent agitation on the Lokpal issue.
The move is on the verge of backfiring. And it has happened before to the Congress. Remember Bhindranwale and others as well. Will he also turn into another Frankenstein? Will history repeat itself? Only time can tell.

Bomb scare

Our Ministers and policemen are really good at acting. Now see how they are reacting to the fussi bomb that went out yesterday.... Why such hue and cry over it I can't understand.
The so called bomb that went off in front of the Delhi High Court, ruined a lawyer's car a bit, causing nothing else. What was the motive....nothing. Just to check police security preparedness and send a alert throughout the country after what has been happening across the border.

Lets not try to foll ourselves. Though we already know that out citizens can be termed naive.

Land politics

Everyone knew that land was the biggest asset that the political class were after. The biggest bureaucrat of them all....our own Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has done another one of his acts. The Prime Minister's relief fund will now be utilised for giving compnesation to farmers who were the alleged victims of police atrocities committed in Bhatta Parsaul villages in Greater Noida.
MMS's servile attitude to the Congress' middle aged yuvraj's attampts at entering Uttar Pradesh politics has been evident by this act. The fund meant for utilisation in cases of natural and man-made calamities of extreme nature is being utilised for the frivolous gains of out would be Prime Minister.
The attempts by the Congress to turn Rahul Gandhi into a political leader seem to be succeeding.... Or does UP chief Minister Mayawati have a counter attack planned.

Attack Communists

Home Minister P Chidambaram seems to be in a hurry to target the recently ousted Communists in West Bengal. With its ally Trinamool Congress setting up government in the state the Minister has gone ahead and announced today that there has been a recovery of several hundred arms and ammunition. That too, he added, from CPI-M officers or cadres.
The Minister's new-found zeal to bring law and order, still a state subject, under the direct purview of the Centre is astonishing. He was the Minister when the Communists were in power, why didn't he then proclaim that the communist cadres were running a training camp there? Weren't his intelligence agencies well informed as they always are?

Bharadwaj gameplan

Political conspiracy theorists in the capital say that it seems that Karnataka Governor HR Bharadwaj not lost his love for a Central posting. The governor has been fomenting trouble for the government of BS Yeddyurappa.
It has been pointed out that the much-awaited cabinet expansion is on the cards and the latest move by the Governor is too closely timed with the expected exercise. It seems that Bharadwaj is bent on establishing and reiterating his credentials as a close confidante of the Congress high command ahead of the cabinet expansion. The governor, it seems, is hoping for a Central posting again.
The governor's actions, however, may not find any takers in the Centre as Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi have decided to give the former law minister adequate rest away from the national capital.

Monday, May 16, 2011

Bharadwaj the real Congressman

Karnataka Governor HR Bharadwaj is a real Congressman. He is still living in the era when Congress didn't think of anything. Not even democracy.
His actions speak volumes of the government's intent and thinking after the recent Assembly poll gains. The former Union Law Minister may have recommended the dismissal of BJP-led government of BS Yeddyurappa but is there a wider game plan by the government. The Congress may again be headed towards the authoritarian ways which it followed till a few years ago.
Bharadwaj's actions have once again made case for doing away with the unconstitutional post of governor. The post was a creation by the British government and an irrelevant position in today's federal democratic system that our country is trying to follow. It is time that such Governors and these posts are done away with. Forever.

Assam result

The Congress win in Assam Assembly elections for the third time in a row is being hailed by everyone. It is fine that Tarun Gogoi has been elected again. But the bigger picture is being missed here.
The Asom Gana Parishad, till now the main opposition party in the state and which was also blamed for its closeness with the extremist elements, has been reduced to third place.
This is a shock as the second place has been secured by All India Democratic United Front. This is a party which is considered to represent the cause of the Muslims in the state. That too the Muslims which seemingly have sympathies in the erstwhile East Bengal.
This Assembly election has proved what had been conspiring for so long. The Congress has been able to break the back of the AGP by systematic and mass demographic change in the state.
The local political leaders had stated this for a fact for several years but in this election the truth has finally been revealed.

Reliance Gas

What's the reason for low gas production at its Krishna-Godavari basin gas fields?
Has it something to do with the low gas pricing which are currently prevailing.... It seems so.
It is being predicted that gas production will increase once the rates rise.
Lets see if this prediction comes true.

Land riots

For the last two days there have been running riots between police forces and the local farmers demanding more compensation for their land in Greater Noida. The clashes have also caused the deaths of several persons.
The violence it seems is being fuelled by certain political elements who want to gain in the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly polls scheduled for next year. The speed with which these riots are spreading to the rest of western Uttar Pradesh clearly elicits that there is a ;larger political conspiracy behind the events. A few political parties are trying to destabilise the Mayawati government. Lets see how far they succeed.

Khandu accident

Not everything seems right with another Chief Minister's death in a helicopter crash. How come so many of our Chief Ministers are dying in such crashes? This may be the only country where helicopters carrying VVIPs are crashing so often.
There is a need to check on these. Why did Arunachal Pradesh CM Dorjee Khandu's chopper crash? There may be reasons but they won't be revealed. It is too soon for comfort after Andhra Chief Minister YSR Reddy's similar fate.

Osama killed

The biggest news break this century: Osama bin Laden has been killed.
The dreaded terrorist wanted by the US has finally been killed by its special forces inside Pakistani territory. And it seems that the dreaded terrorist was on the guest list of Pakistani powers.
The rogue (one time) CIA operative was killed in Abbotabad at a mansion that is believed to be guarded by the Pakistan's ISI. It seems highly improbable that the Pakistan government or intelligence weren't aware of Osama's presence in their midst.
The US on its part has also maintained that it didn't share the intelligence of Osama's location with any country. A clear indication that they don't trust Pakistani dispensation.

PS - A word of caution now for India. The country now needs to prepare itself for any retaliatory attacks by the Osama fraternity. If we can't act like the US we should at least prevent any attacks.

Purulia arms drop

The media has been going to town on the Purulia arms drop case....that it was conspired and enacted by no one else than those in power.
So. What's new?
This was a fact that was known in Delhi's power circles for too long. But like several other cases no one ever published it in such detail. National security excuse was given....
The problem now is that Times Now went ahead and did an interview with someone who was wanted in the case. It seems that there is more to it than meets the eye.
The timing of the story should also be considered. And what about the names of former NSG chief JK Dutt and MP Pappu Yadav. Does the government feel that the people are so naive that they believe that such small fish can act of their own will....

Anna fixing chronicle continues

See....I told you way ahead of any main stream media house that fixing of persons who had created trouble for the government will begin.
Days after that I have proved right and you can see that hired mercenaries....and inside asses are at it full time. Gharwali and Baharwali jokes are doing the rounds in Congress. No prizes for guessing who these are respectively. The supari has already been given to several irrelevant politicians, one of whom is stealing all the limelight, and several main stream media houses who are bending over backwards to impress their Congress masters.
But the tirade against the Anna Hazare led-bunch isn't over yet and you can await more excitement in the coming few days.

PS. -- Still bound by that oath of secrecy I told you about last time.

Fixing of opposers to begin

The government has embarked upon a project to fix the high profile people who were involved in the Anna Hazare led campaign at Jantar Mantar last week. Be prepared to see the dirty linen of these people being washed publicly.
The fixers have been instructed by the powers that be to bring out all the dirt on these holier than thou participants. Watch out for more updates on this space.

PS. Though I know who has been asked to fix whom I can not reveal it at this point in time. Security concerns you see...

Journalists or fixers

The so called national newspaper, which prides itself on being the most courageous of them all, has done it again. After towing, rather licking the government ass on the nuclear energy treaty with the US the paper has done it again.
The newspaper, which seems to have all the fixers and relatives of senior politicians and bureaucrats on its payrolls, has gone out of its way to side with the government on the issue of Lokpal. The newspaper used several stories, very prominently with any reason for the same, that were aimed at creating differences in the team of Anna Hazare. And the campaign continues, despite the government deciding to give into the demands.
The way the news is twisted and presented has revealed how the newspaper industry works. The paper is already infamous for securing its funds through blackmailing industrial houses, builders or licking up the government ass.

Government scared

With social activist Anna Hazare on a fast unto death on the issue of bringing in the Lokpal Bill the government is SCARED. REALLY SCARED.
Met two Union Minister today. Cannot reveal the names. But both of them were scared of the ongoing campaign being spearheaded by Anna. It is being felt that the ongoing movement will not be good for Indian democracy. I heard from my senior colleagues that such an argument was also given by the Congress during the time of JP movement.
Lets hope that the Congress doesn't make the foolishness of imposing another EMERGENCY on this country.
The logic being given by the Union ministers is not upto the mark. They can not deny anyone their right to protest peacefully. And it is time that the government comes out of the closet and reveals what it really wants. Bring the Lokpal bill or not. Just say so. And let the electorate decide your fate in the next elections.

BBC chutiyaapa

The British Broadcasting Corporation is airing shit for news. Last week the supposedly reputed channel aired an interview with NSCN IM chief Muivah. The interview was part of the channel's attempt to showcase Indian insurgency movements in the North-east.
The interviewer (I don't know from where such smart asses are recruited) claimed that Muivah was in talks with the Indian government. So far so food. He goes on to claim that he is in hiding at a secret location.....
Was it so secret. Let me reveal the secret then. Any shithead who watched the sorry report could make out that Muivah was sitting in a lawn of a Lutyens' Delhi bungalow. And the para military force personnel guarding the bungalow gave away its location. It is an Intelligence Bureau safe house bang in the middle of Delhi.
If I know this for a fact how can the correspondent claim that it was a secret location. Do they want me to also give the address of the bungalow...........

PS. Another gem from the same channel. A BBC correspondent interviewing some rebel forces in Libya. By the way there were Caucasian men standing behind the so called rebels. In full armed combat gear and battle ready. probably British or French special forces.

Please be careful in airing such shit and considering the viewer as a chutia.

Journalism of payroll

One of the self proclaimed doyen's of Indian journalism seems to be unabashedly in the good books Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. And would also like to keep her in the good books of common man.
The attempt was quite evident as the so called national newspaper decided to drop her name from the alleged conspirators and beneficiaries being named by the Shunglu committee. It tried to push all the blame on Lieutenant Governor and other officials of the civic agencies.
Lets see for how long will the bald editor in chief of the courageous paper be able to protect his master.

Sonia afraid of defending PM

Why is the UPA chief Sonia Gandhi not coming out in support of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh? Is the political rumour correct that the Congress leadership has itself now become wary of MMS?
It seems so as the staunch supporter of MMS has been found wanting as far as it comes to defend him over the last few months. Especially since the Congress plenary session. It was the first time that the distance between the two became evident. Lets see for how long will MMS be able to survive.....The opposition doesn't seem in a mood to relent and is baying for blood.

Congress-DMK patch up

It seems that the DMK has finally choked the Congress. It is understood that the DMK has asked for the exemption of Kanimozhi from any future grilling by CBI on the 2G investigations that the so called premier investigative agency is conducting.
The Kalaingar or tarbooz in Hindi has asked that none of his blood relatives be touched in the ongoing 2G probe. The point here is that with so many bloodlines of the tarbooz going around till how long with the CBI relent.
The Congress on its part has again proved that it can't handle the pressure of its small allies and will do anything to stick to power. Lets see for how long this party continues to behave like this. As for Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh......I am ashamed that he is leading the government of our country.

Sushma masterstroke

Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj is trying hard to build an image that will help her replace BJP's senior-most leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee. At the same time she has pushed her arch rival Arun Jaitley to being in the position of LK Advani.
The strategy is becoming more than evident now with the events of the past few days. Sushma had taken the higher path and talked of reconciliation when it came to CVC P J Thomas controversy. She tacitly allowed Jaitley to attack the Congress and Prime Minister Dr Mamohan Singh.
This single act ensured that she made herself out to be the bigger leader amongst the two. She is trying to pitch for becoming a leader that can very well lead a NDA government at the Centre. Being a woman and now a supposed person who is willing to listen and mend fences with the other side she may even succeed in this endeavour. Other BJP leaders, with Arun Jaitley at the top, need to watch out for her image and leadership building exercises. This has just begun.
The CVC episode may not have damaged the UPA government as much as it has benefitted one person.... Sushma Swaraj.

Media conspirators

Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni has confirmed a fact that everyone in this country knew.... that the media is a saleable commodity and for the right money you can have anything published.
She informed the Rajya Sabha that the Press Council of India has received 19 complaints from various persons, including an MP Kunwar Manvendra Singh, against newspapers accusing them of publishing paid news.
Complaints were received against Dainik Jagran, Hindustan, The Tribune, The Hindu, Dinamalar, Dainik Bhaskar, Punjab Kesari, Dinakaran, Tamil Murasu, Daily Thanthi, Maalai Malar and Amar Ujala.
A Group of Ministers has already been constituted to examine the report on 'Paid News' prepared by Press Council of India and to give its views on a comprehensive policy and institutional mechanism to address this phenomenon.

Rajya Sabha fiasco

Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had to wait in vain today in Rajya Sabha. Though the JPC issue was listed for discussion it wasn't taken up in the first half, it couldn't be taken up due to some confusion.
MMS, finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and Telecom minister Kapil Sibal were seen leaving the House a few minutes later after this floor management fiasco.
After the three left Parliamentary Affairs minister PK Bansal tried to complain to the chair (K Rehman Khan) in a whisper that the PM came to the House specifically as the discussion on the JPC was scheduled to take place. This conversation was picked up by the Rajya Sabha microphones on the speaker's dais which are permanently on a switch on mode.
Was it a planned event to show the PM his place? Or plain incompetence by Parliamentary Affairs minister PK Bansal?
This is a matter to ponder over.

PS. The discussion finally took place in the post lunch session.

ISRO scam conspiracy

The political buzz about the ISRO scam is doing the rounds of power corridors.
And the rumour mongers are blaming the DMK supremo for the leak. Kalaingar is being blamed for putting Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in the dock.
It is being said that the southern strongman was trying to take an eye for an eye, rather a man for a man. This is said that after A Raja was held by the CBI, the Kalaingar was apparently so infuriated that he wanted to show the PM his real place.
Is this the power of our Prime Minister? No doubt the BJP dub him as the weakest PM ever.

PM-Sonia tiff

The conspiracy theories doing the rounds in Indian political circles state that Prime Minister DFr Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi have fallen out. The theorists have pointed out that the UPA chairperson hasn't been seen in public with the PM ever since the Congress plenary session. Sonia has missed several important engagements, including Republic Day and others.
The latest buzz is that the Congress chief now wants the PM to exit from the government. Apparently three names have also been selected. Lets see if these talks of replacing Dr Singh are anything but true.

PS -- It doesn't seem like that the Prime Minister will go out this easily. Apparently he has been trying to find his feet, or rather, grip to stick to power.

Another UPA Scam

Is the PM involved? Someone from within the government is trying hard to corner Manmohan Singh. This seems to be the latest attempt.
Interestingly, not even a single news channel had picked this tory up by late in the evening. Afraid of the PMO? Maybe....
Lets see how this one goes. Has the potential ato escalate into another big issue.
Here goes the budget session...........................

China in North East

The plan of China is exposed here. I have repeatedly stated that the Indian government is turning a blind eye to these attempts by the Chinese to encircle the country. We need to sit up and take notice of this. The dragon is trying to ensnare us.
It has already taken all our neighbours under its wings. Please wake up and start doing something about this ongoing undeclared war.

How long for Radia?

With former Telecom Minister A Raja already under arrest how long will it take the government to get cracking on Neera Radia?
It seems a bit longer than usual. Which again goes to point that she is connected far more than the former minister who has already been arrested. Her connections with the Tatas and the Reliance group seems to be going a long way in securing her freedom for now. But for how long? And how long before the eminent journalists that have been named in the scam will be questioned?
There is a need to question each and everyone that been in touch with the major players of the 2G scam. And Darkha or Charkha Butt and her erstwhile close male friend need to be questioned in detail by the investigative agencies to bring out the complete conspiracy.

Karmapa spy?

Is the Karmapa working for China? This is the big question that is being viewed by the country.
There is not a iota of doubt that the intelligence and the police establishment would have gone ahead and raided the Tibetan spiritual leader without any evidence.
It seems that the intelligence agencies have already uncovered some secret links of the spiritual guru. The political establishment seems to have taken a stand on the issue or else the agencies would not have had the balls for going in for these raids.

PS -- The amount of cash recovered is not much though. This much amount is collected at any big Hindu temple or Sinkh gurudwara all in a day's work.

Govt. Shouldn’t Censor News, But NBA Will...

I had also tried to find an answer for this blackout......should have investigated further....

Media Crooks: Govt. Shouldn’t Censor News, But NBA Will...: "No, I am not talking about some Basketball league or the Narmada Bachao Andolan. This NBA is different. There was this mosque at Jangpura i..."

Black Money

Why is the government hiding the names of the people holding accounts abroad? The answer is simple.......most of them are fronts for politicians that are in power. Most of them are controlling the money flow into and outside the country.
The Supreme Court may be trying to get the names out of the government but its endeavour is bound to fail. The political class of this country will defend its own. The fingers have been pointed at the first family of this country and their links to money launderers established by a recent income tax appellate tribunal order.....
Lets hope that we are able to read a few names of Swiss bank account holders in the years to come.

Sonia missing

Congress President Sonia Gandhi was absent at the Republic Day parade and at the at home hosted
by President Pratibha Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Though there has been no official reason cited for his missing status it is believed that she is displeased with our Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
Though the middle aged young scion of the Gandhi family was present at the parade his presence may just be to throw everyone off guard. Over the past several weeks there has been talk about differences between the Congress's first family and the PM. Lets see that conspiracy is taking shape here.

Congress Vs Pawar

The Congress knows very well that it cannot take on Sharad Pawar. But is still dares. Sometimes.
This time they went too far and their middle aged youngster yuvaraj went ahead and indicated that the NCP was behind the rising prices mess.
Hasn't the balding Yuvaraj been told that he is no match to the uncrowned Don of Indian agriculture. Though one should note that everything that the Gandhi scion utters from his mouth is well scripted. Hell...even what clothes he needs to wear and where all he needs to appear is also decided by his political masters.
But this time his utterance seems to have backfired big time. With the party needing to intervene for salvaging the situation.

Political games

What seems to be wrong with the Congress these days.....It has been getting into this bad habit of being in one mess after the other. It seems a close Bengali confidante of the first family is working overtime to create the mess.
The senior, rather veteran party leader, is after the current mess. The conspiracy guru says that the leader had taken the recent statement of Rahul Gandhi, the middle aged yuvaraj of the Congress. The prince had failed to recognise the minister as one of the best in the government. The Income Tax tribunal's today's order is the follow up of that politician's ire. Lets see how far he can affect the prospects of the first family and the false Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
