MF Husain

The buzz in the government circles is that the painter MF Husain may soon be returning to the country. The painter who has been on a self-imposed exile from the country ever since coming under attack for drawing nude portraits of Hindu Goddesses may not face a prison term on return. The painter who is facing several charges after allegations of inciting religious hatred through his nude paintings is unlikely to face government action on his return.
Is this a part of a wider game plan...........to serve a particular community while trying to incense the other one. As long as there is a law in the land and it is found to be broken...shouldn't the person be brought to the book? Shouldn't gods or prophets of various religions be kept on equal footing when dealing with such practices by human individuals? How can cartoon of a prophet of a particular religion elicit prompt response when the feelings of the majority community are taken into consideration? The governments decision to not act against the painter seems to be another attempt at serving and seeking the vores of the largest minority community in India.

Bulletproof DCP

The DCP of a prestigious district in Delhi has crossed all limits when it comes to seeking a gallantary medal. The officer, considered real close to the CP, has presented his bullet-hit bullet proof jacket as evidence of his participation in a recent encounter. Interestingly, the cop didn't suffer a broken rib.....a must when a bullet hits from close quarters even when a person is wearing a bullet proof jacket.
The cop is rooting for a Presidential medal, for leading his men from the front. Indeed, he is leading them from the front. In the quest for the elusive medal that is.

Paki electrocuted

The police today claimed that Mohabbat Khan Afridi, Political Counsellor with the High Commission, suffered electric shock when he was drying his hair using an electronic
equipment at his Vasant Vihar residence at around 10 pm on 11 October.
However, there are a lot of questions that are yet to be answered. How can a brigadier rank officer not know how to use a hair dryer? Why was his body taken back to Pakistan last night itself via road? Why didn't the government get a PM conducted? The MEA, which is infamous for its red-tapism, gave clearance for the same within minutes. Why? Can anyone please share some info on this.

Beyond news

This is an attempt at trying to unveil a few truths. Or at least try and raise questions on some issues, half truths and blatant lies that the authorities are doling us out day in and day out. An endeavour which should continue till the truth is revealed.
