Government Maoist peace deal??

After years of showdown and shadow boxing the two have finally decided to hold talks. Or have they......
The day saw President and the Maoist make each other a peace talk offer. It is yet to be seen if that will work. Extremist organisations the world over have been known to use the ceasefire period as a period of consolidation. Unless the Indian government decides to act with intelligence the Maoists are likely to use this period to consolidate and reorganise. The state governments also need to be involved in this process as they are the ones who are dealing with this problem day in and day out at the ground level.
